Sat May 20 - A week to the day of Stevie Wonder's 67th birthday [Born May 13 1950] The South London Soul Train harks the words of one of his most famous songs and says "Happy Birthday Tooooooo yeh" Misstra Superstitious Overjoyed Know it all :D with a Live & DJ Stevie Wonder throw down of Epic proportions.

Your SLST host with the absolute most JAZZHEADCHRONIC and ever raucous, stage destroying, dance floor tendersing BRASSROOTS [Live] dropping a combined 5 hour strictly Stevie Wonder set - celebrating the life, works and sound of one of the most influential living artists, songwriters and producers in the history of souled up rare and popular music today + more across 4 floors at The CLF Art Cafe.

Level 1 - Your Host JAZZHEADCHRONIC takes you through a celebratory full length dance floor direct, retrospective set of classic Stevie Wonder, with an opening 2hr non SW warm up set from 10pm dropped in earnest by special guest TBA.

The Stevie W Portion of the night kicking off at Midnight sharp with BRASSROOTS performing a 90 min Live strictly Stevie Wonder set in an explosive brass band Stylee. "For Once In My Life" to "Living For The City" via "Sir Duke" + More. Once again, Things about to get wild in the place, roof about to get truly blown off the sucka.

Followed by a full length classic Stevie Wonder set dropped in earnest by Jazzheadchronic - mining the complete back catalogue of Stevie Wonder and dropping live bombs o' soul from his Tamla Records to Motown Years 1962 to date. With a heavy focus on his classic songwriting period of the 60’s and 70’s - Stevie Wonder Classics 'My Cherie Amour', ’Signed Sealed Delivered’ and ‘Uptight’ to all time Stevie Wonder Anthems 'Superstition' and ‘Do I Do’.

Lest we forget classic works from mind blowing Albums ‘Fulfillingness First Finale', ‘Innervisions, ’Songs In The Key Of Life' + More. ‘Higher Ground', ‘You Haven’t Done Nothin', 'Master Blaster’ the list goes on and on and on. Original Takes to Remixes and Rare gems from the Tamla and Motown vaults dropped hard, large and loud all night long - alongside a few equally heavyweight non SW joints to keep the vibe absolutely righteous.

Then on Level 2 - Funks gonna hit the fan and seriously move the crowd as Legendary vinyl 45 Heads - The Legendary SNOWBOY & Mighty DEAN RUDLAND unleash more rare funked up soul n' funk beasts on 45 direct to the seismically shifting dance floor and the whole ah you soul. Dropping it like torrential rain for daze - Dance like Thor cracking thunder. Absolutely positively Storming!

Level 3, S’all about Mukatsuku Records Founder, the simply outstanding Nik Weston & Long term DJ partner in riddim & rhyme DJ Huw 72 - Promising another night of blistering eclectic, globalistic groove. Bringing tha audio love and serious vinyl pressure. Absolutely, Positively Taste.T.

The South London Soul Train 4 floor line up completed in the Rye Wax / Basement by First Word Founder GILLA and DJs from the most excellent WAH WAH 45 Record label, serving up more piping hot joints from the world wide soul underground. A real pressure cooker of sound, cookin’ hot til it pops. All Night Long!

The South London Soul Train - All floors taking all passengers on a Non-Stop Magical Mystery Tour through all things Too Damn Funky. P-Funk to Jazz Funk, Soul Jazz to Rare Groove N’ Stax, Brass, Breaks, Bop and Hop to Motown, Club Classics and Anthems.

However - Passengers are requested to check their Souls at the Station as this ones for good time party people only! No Bass Wobbles Here, Only Love, Funk and Souuuuuuuul.
