Electronic Groove is excited to announce its first ever stream during OFF Week. A family gathering bringing together artists and music connoisseurs together around some of the hottest talent on the scene lately.
Ferro is already considered one of the most promising selectors of his generation. With regular releases on Fuse, Lessizmore and family imprint VBX, he’s shown he will be shaping the future of electronic music one way or another.
Speaking of the future, there would be much to say about Oshana’s recent contribution to the scene. With two baffling releases and a new label, Partisan, through which she has indisputably infused a new breath into the sound of tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Voigtmann has been a staggering input into electronic music for a number of years now. Co-founder of ground breaking imprint Toi.Toi (see below), he’s recently delivered an incredible release on Hello? Repeat. He’s also established himself as one of the most promising selector of the international scene, notably with a staggering residency at Fabric.
The sound of the future, it's already around the corner on Electronic Groove.

Ferro (VBX - NL)
Ferro’s sound comes caked in a vintage dust, sounding as though his beats have been maturing in a draw before being unleashed on the world. They are percussive while organic, warm and inviting. It is Ferro’s lasting goal to make all of his music using genuine hardware and fully analogue tools.
With pure enthusiasm and a huge devotion to all the music he plays and produces, Ferro has made a big artistic step these past two years. In 2016 this has lead him to play gigs such as HYTE Amnesia, Goa Club (IT), Kiesgrube (DE), Rodnya (RU) and Fuse London, where he is part of the crew as well. Outside of Europe he has also played in Argentina and Bolivia. This coming year Ferro will see more of Ibiza for another round of HYTE at Amnesia, he’s playing the main stages at DGTL, Awakenings Festival and Welcome To The Future Festival. Ferro is also confirmed for We Are Festival in London, Dockyard, Pollerwiesen, Free Your Mind, Amsterdam Open Air, Paradigm Festival and Mysteryland. As a resident dj of VBX and co-owner of the record label, Ferro is playing their nights at Amsterdam’s youngest club Shelter as well as releasing on the label. He’s also a regular at Thuishaven and Loveland. Ferro’s latest EP ‘The Neverending Story’ was released on Lessizmore in March 2017 and in January the ‘Right Before That’ EP on VBX Records. There’s a certain boldness and originality to Ferro’s sound that makes one think he’s been doing this forever, however his first release was only in 2014. Other imprints like Oscillat and Infuse have released productions by Ferro as well. Ferro is not just going solo, as he is also a collaborative duo with Reiss as Spokenn, which is linked to the VBX family as well.
Oshana (Partisan / yoyaku - USA)
Rising from humble beginnings in NYC, Berlin based Oshana has established an unparalleled identity in today’s underground scene. Earning recognition from her productions, she’s harnessed an innate ability to captivate her audience with the transcendental quality of her music. Drawing inspiration from the raw sound of late 90s house and techno, she’s composed a style that’s both fresh and mature, distinguished by its rugged percussion and warm, melodic synths.
Since her debut in 2012, Oshana has stacked up a number of superior accolades. She was named one of the underground’s top 10 leading ladies by Pulse Radio, she earned a coveted position on Raresh’s Fabric 78 compilation, and she garnished the support of several key players for her numerous chart-topping EP’s. As well as signing her music to BodyParts and Rue De Plaisance, Oshana’s developed a close association to Dana Ruh and Anthea’s Brouqade label, also following the latter to become an integral part of the exciting, new Partisan imprint.
This connection has proven to be significant for Oshana – holding down summer residencies for Brouqade & Friends at the infamous Club Der Visionaere in Berlin, while also keeping an active touring schedule - boasting dates around the world at Fuse Club in Belgium, Rex Club in Paris, Goa in Rome, Output in NYC, and festivals like Sonar in Barcelona and Epizode in Vietnam.
No matter where her path leads her, Oshana’s intentions remain focused on capturing the minds and hearts of her listeners. While her DJ sets play on inspiration from the crowd, Oshana’s LIVE shows are a strong force of their own, making them a natural fit for big rooms and large-scale festivals. Regardless of the setting, it is evident that energy is the primary factor permeating all aspects of Oshana’s creativity. In her particular approach, there is ample space for introspection and meditation, but never at the expense of the overall vibe of the dancefloor.
Voigtmann (Toi Toi Musik - GER)
Claus Voigtmann is the co-founder of London’s most underground and conceptual party, Toi.Toi.Musik. With sublime dedication to Djing and music production Voigtmann has patiently acquired the respect of his peers in what is considered to be remarkable achievements in such short time. That goes not only for his Dj sets at his very own Toi Toi in London but also Fabric, Rex Club, Off-Sonar parties, festivals, Berlin clubs such as Club Der Visionaere and many other warehouse parties and clubs but also by developing his production skills. Voigtmann is an artist with an ever increasing catalogue of knowledge, taste and skill, providing what appears to be a long road ahead of him. Claus is highly appreciative of the art of mixing and in love with his vinyl. An architect, designer, dj and electronic music producer he is fearless and defiant to trends and hype.
A constantly evolving ear adds to his progression as producer, a very careful and patient one who concentrates in perfectioning sound rather than hurrying to have releases out. Such dedication and patience has been paying off. His first release has been signed to Jan Krueger‘s and Daze Maxim‘s acclaimed Hello?Repeat label and more recently a release on Assemble Music due out in 2013.
Intricately chosen depths, smooth, sensual, deep or raw and tough minimal and techno elements filter their way through a collage of powerful and provoking soundscapes. The effect is more than just dance worthy but a solid musical experience spun with clear technical competence. There is no such way to define what Claus produces when behind the decks, only that its intelligence and musical ability is always prominent and never dull. Claus is a regular on London and Europe’s circuit, having played at many established clubs and underground warehouse parties in London, Berlin, Ibiza, Geneva, Berlin, Nuremberg, Lithuania, Barcelona, Sao Paulo and so on. Only in 2014 he has done tours in North & South America and Japan passing through clubs such as The Panther Room / Output in NYC or D-Edge in Sao Paulo just to name a few.
Fiercely talent driven and with no compromise on quality, Toi.Toi has become one of London’s most respected and definitive nights within the city’s dance music realm playing host to Zip, Delano Smith, Sammy Dee, Audio Werner, Thomas Brinkmann, Move D, Mr G amongst many others.
Voigtmann's first releases include 'DoEasy Records' - 5000 Shades of Grey EP - Remixed by SIT (Cristi Cons & Vlad Caia) which was out in March 2013 and on Assemble Music, his Anticlockwise EP remixed by Ion Ludwig just after Vera and Ricardo Vilallobos' release on the label. Voigtmann's latest releases include the long awaited Hello?Repeat EP with Meander's Dewalta as well as a release on Yume Label remixed by Fabric's Craig Richards.
For 2017 Voigtmann has been announced as one of the EC1 new faces for fabric's room 1.
